Hi, I’m Rasheeda, a passionate, trauma informed psychotherapist offering mental health support to individuals & couples. For over 20 years, I’ve specialized in working with anxiety, depression, conflicts in relationships & processing trauma. My approach to therapy takes into account clients’ diverse experiences and individual identities (e.g.ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation etc.).

I work empathically and collaboratively with clients to improve mental well-being, coping and communication skills, resilience and agency. Clients and I also work to develop greater insights about challenging life experiences, difficult feelings and emotions, distress and challenges in interpersonal relationships.

My approach to therapy is integrative. This means I use various psychological theories and evidence-based treatments tailored to clients’ unique needs. Approaches include but are not limited to: Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic, Attachment Theory, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Schema Therapy.
