Event Description

MHFA For Adults Who Interact With Youth is a 14-hour course which provides guidelines for giving first aid for mental health problems experienced by young people aged 12-24. Participants will learn how to identify and respond to health problems such as substance and mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorder, self injury and psychotic disorders.
This course is appropriate for anyone who interacts with youth or emerging adults: teachers, counselors, social workers, law enforcement, coaches, family members, first responders, health care providers, community leaders, foster parents and babysitters.
