Healthy Minds Cooperative (HMC) is Canada's only mental health cooperative. HMC provides a variety of peer-based services to Nova Scotians with lived experience of mental health and addiction issues -- and to their families -- through community navigation, wellness and recovery workshops and peer support groups. HMC also provides significant and meaningful input into the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of mental health services in Nova Scotia through 'Citizen Engagement' opportunities.
