Since 2016, Valentin has worked with a wide range of clients and developed specialties working with individuals and families with developmental and intellectual disability, supporting couples struggling with conflict and a loss of spark, and individuals who are experiencing mental health issues, trauma, and grief.
Valentin’s approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, active listening, and collaboration. She believes in tailoring therapy to meet each client(s) unique needs. She draws from various modalities such as solution-focused therapy, somatic body work, trauma & attachment, narrative and self-compassion. By working together with the client(s), Valentin supports uncovering and challenging underlying patterns, developing coping strategies, and fostering positive and sustainable change.
Valentin provides a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Her goal is to provide a supportive and confidential environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
In her spare time Valentin enjoys spending time with her husband and cat, reading fantasy books and dancing.
