Bully Prevention Program
The Bully Prevention Program aims to reduce the level of physical and emotional aggression within schools by implementing a comprehensive community-wide approach to increase knowledge, skills and resources. This program brings together the entire community, including parents, police, resource centres, business leaders, school personnel, and most importantly young people.
 
The Bully Prevention Program offers:

In-school curriculum-based program for grades JK to grade 8, involving students, teachers, principals and parent councils.
Community talks to address the issue with both community members (parents/care providers) and service providers.
"Train the Facilitator" opportunities for service providers interested in our program

We serve:

School-aged children residing in Goulbourn, Kanata and West Carleton.
The entire school community, including: school personnel, parents, students and community members.

Program is also available in French.

Offered by the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre (WOCRC).
