Event Description

Presented by Dr. Jonathan Weiss, M. Catherine Cappadocia and Dr. Yona Lunsky. Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are often at risk for experiencing bullying, which can have a long standing impact on their mental health and on how they see their peers. Less is known about the risks for adolescents or young adults with ASD who are in the school or in work environments. The current presentation discusses the preliminary findings from a Canadian study on bullying and its impact on the mental health and well-being of adolescents and adults.
